Find the cheapest place to buy something

Buy from Amazon. All three stores charge about the same: $458 at Amazon and Best Buy, $458.99 at Target. Amazon wins on delivery.

Prices for the new black WH-1000XM6, sold by each store itself, checked just now (October 20, 2026):

Why Amazon: it ties Best Buy for the lowest price, ships faster (Thursday with Prime), and adds the free Amazon Music trial. Go with Best Buy instead if you want to pick them up in a store today, or if you value Best Buy's returns or price-match. You save nothing either way.

Ways to pay less:

• Refurbished: Amazon Renewed has the XM6 for $299.99. Best Buy has "Refurbished Excellent" bundles for $379.97.
• The previous model: Best Buy has the WH-1000XM5 for $228, down from $398, if you don't need the newest version.
• Possible Target sale: one Target search snippet showed the XM6 for $399.99 "Sale". The live Target product page doesn't show that, so it's probably out of date or applies only to one colour. It's worth a quick look at Target's other colours before you buy.
• Other colours on Amazon: most are $458, but Sandstone is $459.99. The $379–$399 listings are international models, which may not include a US warranty.

Amazon and Best Buy prices came from the Firecrawl Alexandria providers for those stores. Target's provider doesn't return prices, so I read Target's live product page directly instead. A Firecrawl rate limit delayed that step by about a minute.
