For three to eight candidate countries. ISO3 codes from step 1 carry into every IEA read.

## 1. Grid mix

2. Read monthly net production by source from dataset monthly-electricity-statistics with @[IEA · Data](alexandria:iea-org/energy/data) for the last 24 months. Compute the share of wind and solar and its trend; a fossil-heavy grid makes a PPA's emissions impact larger.

## 2. What industry pays

3. Read dataset energy-prices-highlights with @[IEA · Data](alexandria:iea-org/energy/data) for industrial electricity prices in USD.
4. For EU countries, find the non-household electricity price dataset with @[Eurostat · Search datasets](alexandria:ec-europa-eu/indicators/search_datasets) and read it with @[Eurostat · Query data](alexandria:ec-europa-eu/indicators/query_data) for the last four half-years.

## 3. Currency risk

## Write the country screen

- **Table:** country, renewable share and trend, industrial price, EU detail, currency swing.
- **Shortlist:** high price and high fossil share (most savings and impact) with tolerable currency risk.
- **Unknowns:** PPA strike prices and market rules are not in these sources.
- **Sources:** cite every figure to the capability and record it came from. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
