Loan player progress report
Use when a football club's loan manager needs the monthly report on players out on loan. Reads each player's appearances and stats at the loan club, the loan club's fixtures and league position, who competes for the same position on that roster, and background for context, then writes a status per player.

# Loan player progress report For each player on loan. ESPN athlete and team ids from step 1 carry into later reads. ## 1. The player 1. Find the player with @[ESPN · Search](alexandria:espn-com/sports-data/search) and read @[ESPN · Player](alexandria:espn-com/sports-data/player) with include_statistics for the loan club's league (for example eng.2 or esp.1). Note appearances, starts, minutes and goals or assists. ## 2. The loan club 2. Read @[ESPN · Team schedule](alexandria:espn-com/sports-data/team_schedule) for the loan club to see results and upcoming fixtures, and count matches the player missed. 3. Read @[ESPN · Roster](alexandria:espn-com/sports-data/roster) for the loan club to see who else plays his position. 4. Read @[ESPN · Standings](alexandria:espn-com/sports-data/standings) for the league to put the club's season in context. ## 3. Background 5. Read @[Wikipedia · Article](alexandria:wikipedia/articles/lookup) for the player for loan terms and earlier spells that local reporting has recorded. ## Write the loan report - **Per player:** minutes share, starts, output, position competition, club form. - **Status:** on track, at risk or recall candidate, with the reason. - **Upcoming:** fixtures where minutes should rise or fall. - **Unknowns:** training reports and loan clauses are not in these sources. - **Sources:** cite every figure to the capability and record it came from. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
