Player prop edge finder

Use before NFL kickoff when a sports bettor wants player props where sportsbook lines disagree with independent projections. Reads each prop's consensus line and per-book lines, compares them with two independent stat projections, then checks injuries and weather, and lists props with the largest documented gap.

# Player prop edge finder

For one NFL week and one prop type (passing yards, rushing yards, receptions). Players from step 1 carry through.

## 1. What the books say

1. Read @[StartWho · Projections](alexandria:startwho-com/fantasy-sports-rankings/projections) for the position. For each player keep the prop's consensus line, odds and every sportsbook's line; the best available line is often a book or two off consensus.

## 2. What independent models say

2. Read stat lines from @[FFToday · Weekly projections](alexandria:fftoday-com/fantasy-sports-rankings/weekly_projections) (week, position).
3. Read @[CBS Sports · Projections](alexandria:cbssports-com/fantasy-sports-rankings/projections) for the same position and week.
4. For each player, compare both projected stats with the best available line. Keep props where both models sit on the same side by a meaningful margin.

## 3. What could break it

5. Read @[NFL.com · Injury report](alexandria:nfl-com/sports-league-data/injury_report) for each player's team and opponent (a missing cornerback or offensive lineman moves yardage).
6. Read @[National Weather Service · Forecast hourly](alexandria:api-weather-gov/weather/forecast_hourly) for outdoor stadiums at kickoff.

## Write the edge list

- **Table:** player, prop, consensus line, best line and book, FFToday stat, CBS stat, gap, injury notes, wind.
- **Top edges:** props where both models agree with the biggest gap.
- **Avoid:** props with late injury uncertainty.
- This is analysis, not betting advice.
- **Sources:** cite every figure to the capability and record it came from. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
