Supplier recall and inspection sweep for a restaurant group
Use when a food safety or QA manager at a multi-unit restaurant group runs the weekly compliance sweep. Checks FDA food recalls against the group's key ingredients and suppliers, pulls each unit's latest public health inspection from the city open-data portal, and scans recent Maps reviews for illness or hygiene complaints. Produces an action list by location.

# Supplier recall and inspection sweep for a restaurant group For a list of key ingredients and supplier names, the locations' names and addresses, and the city open-data portal. ## 1. Recalls touching the menu 1. Search @[FDA · Food recalls](alexandria:fda-gov/records/food_recalls) for each ingredient and supplier name. Keep recall number, classification, reason, status and report date. Class I recalls go to the top. ## 2. Inspection record 2. Find the inspection dataset with @[Socrata · Search datasets](alexandria:socrata-com/open-data/search_datasets) (query restaurant inspections, `domain` the city portal). 3. Read its columns with @[Socrata · Describe dataset](alexandria:socrata-com/open-data/describe_dataset) so filters use real field names. 4. Pull each location's latest results with @[Socrata · Query dataset](alexandria:socrata-com/open-data/query_dataset) (`where` on name or address, `order` by inspection date descending). ## 3. Guest signals 5. Find each location with @[Maps · Business search](alexandria:firecrawl-maps/businesses/search) and read its newest @[Maps · Reviews](alexandria:firecrawl-maps/businesses/reviews). Flag mentions of getting sick, hair, pests, cold food served hot or dirty restrooms. ## Write the sweep - **Recalls:** any match to the ingredient list, with lot or product detail and the action (pull, verify lot, ignore with reason). - **By location:** last inspection date, score or result, open violations, and guest hygiene flags. - **Action list:** owner and due date fields left for the manager to fill. - **Sources:** cite each record to its capability and date. Not every city publishes inspections; say what could not be found.
