## 1. Top-tier comparables

1. Search each maker with @[Sotheby's · Search](alexandria:sothebys-com/auctions/search) and open the closest matches with @[Sotheby's · Lot](alexandria:sothebys-com/auctions/lot): estimate, result where shown, sale date and description.
2. Search the same maker with @[Christie's · Search lots](alexandria:christies-com/auction-lots/search_lots) and read close matches with @[Christie's · Get lot](alexandria:christies-com/auction-lots/get_lot). Carry estimate low and high and the sale location.

## Write the routing sheet

- **Per piece:** best comparable from each channel with link, estimate or realised price, and how close the match is (maker only, maker and form, near identical).
- **Route:** consign when major-house estimates for close matches are well above the regional realised range and the piece fits a sale category; sell locally otherwise. State the reason in one line.
- **Timing:** next relevant major-house sale names found in the results.
- **Sources:** cite each figure to its capability and date. Never present an estimate as a sale price, and say which pieces had no comparable.
