Fantasy waiver breakout finder

Use before the weekly waiver run when a fantasy football manager wants players likely to break out who are still available in their league. Finds available players whose actual production beats their projection, checks rest-of-season outlooks, and looks for an injury ahead of them on the depth chart, producing a ranked claim list.

# Fantasy waiver breakout finder

For one public Yahoo league (league id) and your scoring. Available players from step 1 are the only candidates.

## 1. Who is available and outperforming

1. Read @[Yahoo Fantasy Football · Player rankings](alexandria:football-fantasysports-yahoo-com/fantasy-football-players/player_rankings) (status A, sort AR_L4W) and compare each player's last-four-weeks actual rank with his projected rank. Big positive gaps are the candidates.
2. Read @[Yahoo Fantasy Football · List players](alexandria:football-fantasysports-yahoo-com/fantasy-football-players/list_players) (status A, stat_period last week) for the raw points behind the rank.

## 2. Does it last

3. Read @[StartWho · Ros projections](alexandria:startwho-com/fantasy-sports-rankings/ros_projections) and @[Draft Sharks · Ros rankings](alexandria:draftsharks-com/fantasy-sports-rankings/ros_rankings) for the position. Keep candidates both sites rate above their current ownership suggests.

## 3. Is the job opening up

4. Read @[NFL.com · Injury report](alexandria:nfl-com/sports-league-data/injury_report) for each candidate's team and note any starter at the same position who is out or limited.
5. Confirm the depth chart with @[ESPN · Roster](alexandria:espn-com/sports-data/roster) and read the latest note with @[Yahoo Fantasy Football · Player news](alexandria:football-fantasysports-yahoo-com/fantasy-football-players/player_news).

## Write the claim list

- **Ranked claims:** player, team, last-four-weeks actual versus projected rank, ROS rank on two sites, injury ahead of him.
- **Bid guidance:** priority order and which drops are safe, without inventing FAAB figures.
- **Stash:** one player whose path opens only if a starter misses time.
- **Sources:** cite every figure to the capability and record it came from. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
