# New store local launch plan

For one new location (address and coordinates) and its category. Local launches win by answering what nearby rivals get wrong.

## 1. The competitive patch

1. Map rivals with @[Maps · Search](alexandria:firecrawl-maps/businesses/search) (`query` = category, `latitude`, `longitude`). Keep **feature ids**, ratings and distance.
2. For the five closest, read @[Maps · Rating trend](alexandria:firecrawl-maps/businesses/rating_trend) (`feature_id`) and @[Maps · Reviews](alexandria:firecrawl-maps/businesses/reviews) (`feature_id`, `sort` newest). Note who is rising or slipping and the complaints that repeat (wait times, price, staff, parking).

## 2. Demand and catchment

3. Compare demand across the state with @[Trends · Interest by region](alexandria:firecrawl-trends/trends/interest_by_region) (`keywords` = category term, `geo` = state such as US-TX, `resolution=metro`).
4. Resolve the surrounding county or place with @[Census · Geographies](alexandria:census-gov/census/geographies) (`query`), then pull population and median household income with @[Census · Data](alexandria:census-gov/census/data) (`dataset=acs/acs5`, `vintage`, `geography`, `variables` such as B01003_001E and B19013_001E).

## Write the launch plan

- **Competitor table:** name, distance, rating, trend, top complaint.
- **Catchment:** population, income and search demand compared with the state.
- **Targeting:** radius, the neighbourhoods to prioritise and why.
- **Messages:** three opening offers or claims that answer rivals' most common complaints.
- **Sources:** cite each figure to its capability, with the Census vintage. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
