Webinar topic validation

Use when a B2B demand generation manager must choose next quarter's webinar or virtual event topics and wants proof buyers care. Checks which topics analyst firms run webinars on, search interest for each candidate, how often practitioner podcasts discuss it, and what verified users complain about in software reviews, then writes a ranked topic list with titles.

# Webinar topic validation

For three to six candidate topics and one product category. A webinar topic needs demand (search), currency (podcasts) and pain (reviews).

## 1. What analysts are already covering

1. List upcoming analyst webinars with @[Gartner · Webinars search](alexandria:gartner-com/events/webinars_search) (`function_tag`, `start_after` = today). Open the two closest to each candidate with @[Gartner · Webinar detail](alexandria:gartner-com/events/webinar_detail) (`event_id`) for the angle and speakers. Topics Gartner covers heavily need a sharper angle.

## 2. Demand and currency

2. Chart the candidates with @[Trends · Interest over time](alexandria:firecrawl-trends/trends/interest_over_time) (`keywords`, `geo`, `time=today 12-m`).
3. Count practitioner discussion with @[Particle · Episode counts over time](alexandria:particle/podcasts/episodes/timeseries) (`semantic_search` = topic, `published_after` = six months ago, `interval=month`). Rising counts mean the topic is current.

## 3. Real pain

4. Find the category leader with @[PeerSpot · Search](alexandria:peerspot-com/software-reviews/search) (`query`), then read @[PeerSpot · Reviews](alexandria:peerspot-com/software-reviews/reviews) (`slug`, two pages). Map recurring complaints and wishes to the candidate topics.

## Write the topic list

- **Ranked table:** topic, search trend, podcast trend, review pain matches, analyst coverage, score.
- **Titles:** two working titles per top topic, each built on a quoted pain point.
- **Avoid:** topics with falling interest or saturated analyst coverage.
- **Sources:** cite each signal to its capability. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
