# Refinancing wall check

For one SEC filer, given ticker and exchange. Maturities from step 2 are repriced with the rates from steps 4 and 5.

## 1. Debt and cash

1. Read @[Fiscal.ai · Balance sheet](alexandria:fiscal-ai/financials/balance-sheet) (periodType quarterly) for cash and short- and long-term debt, and @[Fiscal.ai · Cash flow statement](alexandria:fiscal-ai/financials/cash-flow-statement) (periodType quarterly) for interest paid and free cash flow.

## 2. The schedule

2. Read liquidity and capital resources with @[SEC · Sections](alexandria:sec-gov/filings/sections) (ticker, form 10-K, items ["7"]): maturity table, revolver size and covenants.
3. Search @[SEC · Search](alexandria:sec-gov/filings/search) (cik, forms ["8-K"], query "credit agreement" or "indenture", from 12 months back) for amendments, new notes or covenant relief since the 10-K. Set both `from` and `to`: the search ignores `from` on its own.

## 3. Today's price of money

4. Pull settlements with @[CME FedWatch · Futures settlements](alexandria:cmegroup-com/fomc-rate-probabilities/futures_settlements) (product_id 8462, Three-Month SOFR). The strip gives the base-rate path through each maturity date.
5. Read the matching credit spread with @[FRED · Series observations](alexandria:fred/series/observations) (series_id BAMLC0A4CBBB for BBB or BAMLH0A0HYM2 for high yield, last 12 months).

## Write the refinancing check

- **Maturity ladder:** amount and coupon by year.
- **Repricing:** for each maturity, implied base rate plus spread versus the current coupon, and the extra annual interest.
- **Coverage:** free cash flow and interest coverage after refinancing.
- **Call:** comfortable, tight or at risk, with the deciding maturity.
- **Sources:** cite every figure to the capability and record it came from. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
