# Casting shortlist momentum check

For three to ten actors on a shortlist. TMDB person ids from step 1 feed every later step.

## 1. Credits and commitments

1. Resolve each actor with @[TMDB · Search](alexandria:themoviedb-org/films/search) (media_type person) and read @[TMDB · Get person](alexandria:themoviedb-org/films/get_person) for biography and credits.
2. For credits without a release yet or releasing in the next year, read @[TMDB · Get release dates](alexandria:themoviedb-org/films/get_release_dates). Several unreleased titles suggest a crowded schedule; TMDB does not show shoot dates, so say so.

3. Take each actor's last three released films and read @[Letterboxd · Ratings bulk](alexandria:letterboxd-com/films/ratings_bulk) for average ratings and rating counts in one call. Rating counts show reach; averages show reception.

4. Compare up to five names at a time with @[Trends · Interest over time](alexandria:firecrawl-trends/trends/interest_over_time) over 12 months, and @[Trends · Interest by region](alexandria:firecrawl-trends/trends/interest_by_region) at country level if the project needs a specific market.

## Write the shortlist note

- **Table:** actor, last three films with rating and count, unreleased titles, search trend.
- **Rising:** actors with growing interest and well-received recent work.
- **Schedule risk:** actors with many unreleased projects.
- **Gaps:** availability and fees are not in these sources; flag them for agent calls.
- **Sources:** cite every figure to the capability and record it came from. Say what could not be found rather than guessing.
